A killer stalks the streets of London, murdering Christmas-hating misers and crowning them with a wreath of holly and mistletoe – a mystery only reformed penny-pincher Ebenezer Scrooge can solve.

But Scrooge’s chief witness is dead, his prime suspect is a mystical spirit who can walk through walls and people are beginning to doubt his sanity.

With the help of Tiny Tim and Mrs Tassell Scrooge embarks on the investigation, but soon realises that the key to the case lies buried in the secrets of Christmas past…

Behind the scenes…

I was so pleased to get the chance to explore Victorian London through Scrooge’s eyes again. He’s still grumpy, he’s still struggling to let go of the purse strings, but he’s trying. One of my chief joys in this was delving into Scrooge’s murky past so we could glimpse some more of his bad old self, and getting to see the world from Jacob Marley’s point of view. I really hope you enjoy it!
